If this is a recent picture and not a picture from his past training camp then he looks good and like in control of his weight... I would probably say 177

It could be recent, he fought in december and the Canelo fight was announced in January, so i doubt he ballooned a huge amount in 4 weeks or so and has probably been in light training since.

I would say about 175.....his legs look good and his torso look pretty trim, its a bad fight for canelo because jnr is naturally bigger by quite a bit , chavez has a good chin when its getting hit with a canelo stepping up in weight and the last and i think is the most important....theres serious pride involved in this fight and the chavez's and alvarezes have always had a serious beef between them....don't be surprised to see chavez to take everything canelo alnds on him and walk him down in the late rounds...cherrypickgonewrong

Hoping to drain Chavez Jr to 164.5. Jr's reputation has been he's lazy, undisciplined, not as good as once thought. Kirkland, Khan, and Smith proves Canelo isn't trying to make 50/50 fights. Cotto was a challenging fight but Canelo was the clear favorite going into that fight.
