JC is not even in his prime now, RJJ would not have knocked him out in 5 rounds, it would have been a FOTY or decade.
JC is not overrated, big fights were just hard to happen for him. Hopkins pulled out of a fight with him, and RJJ just never happend because both guys are reluctant to fight away from home.
JC was content to fight a few Tocker Puddings, and Mger Mgertchians, but super middle in Joe era of dominance has been weak, proved by Markus Beyer being a long reigning champion, and Sven Ottke(arggggh!) retiring UNDEFEATED. Fights with these two bastards are impossible to make, also JC like most boxers lets face it so would you be, is all about the money! getting paid £700,000 to fight a guy in Germany that you have already knocked out in 1 round at home, is easy money.
Ok ill change that for ya
Prime Calzaghe v Prime Roy Jones (Roy still takes him out before the 10th)
i just really hate topics like this their typical crap tht ppl make up,
u don't see any1 making a HOLYFIELD V WLAD thread do we
Thread like this just disrespect boxers like Roy jones cause any1 in their right mind knows the Roy jones 2day would get destroyd by Calzaghe or any other off the big men out their, 4 god sake i even heard that crap Clinton Woods offering Roy a fight at light-heavy for this title,
u really think Woods would have been doing tht years ago
RJJ at his prime he would have won, but now probably not, he wont get KOed cause he's still good at avoiding shot, it would just be a dance performance like the last tarver fight.
Roy couldnt knock anyone out once he left middleweight....he would simply out point everyone..i just dont buy that 5 round stuff....
No, RJJ still had excellent power at SMW, he lost it his power when he went to LH. Either way RJJ has a better legacy, RJJ beat Prime James Toney and Hopkins. JC beat Jeff Lacy which was a great win over a very strong opponent in convincing fashion, however he does not compare to either JT or Bernard.

no doubt about Roys legacy....but the fight to would be like a murda plot against roy...a fight back then wouldnt have resulted in a ko..How many ko's did roy have after leaving MW???
thats true obviously, but Joe is not done yet, we'll see how ambitious him and Warren are with their fight choice after Joe's next fight.
After Winky beats Taylor,
Calzaghe v Winky thts the Bigtime right their.
also another good fight for Calzaghe out their is prob Adamek,
All this talk about Tarver is crap myself tarvers nearly 38 for god sake his best years are behind him, he had to wins over a shot Roy jones"so" ,
if your going to give any1 the chance to face Calzage at Light-heavy the man who deserves it more than any1 has got to be Glen Johnson he a true sportsman, not a *** like tarver

RJJ knockout everyone he faced at SMW with the exception of only 2 guys and one of them the being the defensive James Toney. RJJ stopped knocking guys out when he went to LH, in MW and SMW he was a freakishly deadly combination of speed and power.
