Canelo is a fraud MW champion, and I personally don't like him, ever since he sucker-punched Archie Solis

And this fight is basically a stunt....

But I have to say, that I wouldn't be surprised if it was a fun fight. Jr. has obviously lost a WHOLE LOT. But he has always been a tough dude, and he towers over Canelo. I can see Canelo just going off on Jr., but never hurting him, while Jr. gets some punishment off here and there, and maybe making it interesting late, ala his fight w Maravilla.

And even tho he's a total Junior, and he basically sucks now, I'm pulling hard for Jr.

He's a pothead slacker who cant stay away from cheeseburgers --- He's BASICALLY US!!

WAR JR.!! DO it for the Stoners!!

Joto Shaw is just jealous that after all his pbc **** riding that GBP, Top Rank, K2 and RNS keep putting on the biggest shows year after year.

You always see a ton of PBC fighters at these shows. It's the only way for them to be involved in big promotions.

35 million Hispanics of Mexican origin reside in the United States 2017.

The funny thing is all the HBO fanboys are giving their network bad karma. It is very important for HBO PPV Boxing to do extremely well with Alvarez vs Chavez Jr. It is the latest leap from De La Hoya vs Chavez. Seeing how almost 6 million Mexicans are in LA alone, aside from all the other major urban cities, there's good probability it will hit higher than 1million PPV. Mexicans are a huge working class. Dudes just want to go home and relax, be it to watch boxing or soccer. The question is how many out of 1/8 Mexican American households will watch or have HBO subscription and fork up the loot. Then you have other demographics and venues purchasing the fight along with casuals and haters wanting to see Alvarez lose.

De La Hoya vs. Chavez II 525,000 HBO PPV 1998..
De La Hoya vs. Mayweather 2,400,000 PPV HBO 2007
Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Floyd Mayweather 1,100,000 HBO 2009
Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Manny Pacquiao III 1,400,000 HBO 2011
Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Manny Pacquiao IV 1,150,000 HBO 2012
Mayweather vs. Canelo The One 2,200,000 Showtime PPV 2013
Julio Chavez Jr. vs. Sergio Martinez 475,000 HBO 2012

Also, this fight brings unity after the recent Trump elections. If Arum publicized how important Mexican boxing is expect to see GBP's advisory to do the same. Again, this bout will bring a sense of closure for Mexicanism in 2017 post Trump win.
