    Miguel Cotto's Final Boxing Chapter

With Kirkland's injury postponing/cancelling the fight. I think Cotto should fight Luis Collazo in NY at 150lbs.

Cotto should be testing how he feels at a lower weight to make the only fights that truly make sense for him at this stage of his career.

After that, I think he should pursue Bradely and JMM at welterweight, or very close to that weight.

If not, I recommend rematching Trout, and going for a final title at 154lbs vs Lara or Jermell.

I know Miguel has a lot of haters, and I get it, he has done some things that turn off a lot of fans, however, for those who value what actually happens in the ring, Miguel has been a true entertainer and world class prize fighter.

What do you all think he should do for the final chapter of his boxing career?

Trout or Bradley. Anyone else will be interesting, but it's not going to get me excited.

Conor Mcgregor's presents within boxing, seems to be messing things up! i would like Miguel Cotto to finish his career up against Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao!

I think the fights he wants to retire on is either JMM or Canelo in the fall. So there are two different routes.

For JMM, I like the idea of fighting someone like Collazo at a CW in March-April.

If Hearn offers a good deal for Brook in NYC I would take that as well and maybe postpone it to June. The same applies for Arum with a Bradley fight. Both fights in the range of 150-154 lbs.

If he wins, and hopefully JMM wins his tuneup fight in the meantime, then make that retirement party for the fall in Las Vegas.

If he plans on getting that Canelo rematch, then I would like to see him first against Bradley, Brook or Trout (better yet if the foght is offered on short notice as a Kirkland replacement) closer to the 154 lbs.

If he wins then fight a champ at 154 lbs while the Canelo/Chavez/GGG unfolds.

Then retire on the rematch, which could happen on May 2018 after the GGG fight. A passing of the torch retirement fight.

He should fight ggg he fought them all why not him, he could do 3x better than Brook did, otherwise I'm not interested in a cotto looking for a easy check

cotto-bradley would be a decent scrap. no interest in a marquez fight tho.

Marquez must be Cottos dream fight

hed get a lot of $$$ for fighting a smaller, inactive, washed up guy with knee problems

too bad for him, grandpa Roidquez didnt want it

both Marquez and Cotto should just retire already

tbh, i don't blame him...he's been in plenty if wars, so he can fight whoever he wants. just don't try to sell it to us on ppv.

If Cotto is only going to fight once more, it should be Bradley. That would be a good fight.

I agree that JMM is too small.

Ive always respected Cotto, but honestly, he needs to go away. I blame him for starting the hi******* of MW to Cottoweight, which Canelo has now ran with. And he doesn't make exciting fights anymore, b/c he knows not to extend himself.

And its interesting that nobody is mentioning any of the young JMWs out there - there's a ton of them...because we know they would spark Cotto.

Its brutal, but Im just not a nostalgiac dude. Once you get too past your prime, unless you can make exciting fights, move the hell over to make room for the new guys
