Dude if you quit after an inconclusive victory like that then you aint nothing but a *****, and you lose your right to compare yourself to Mayweather (not that you ever had it).

Mayweather rematched Castillo and Maidana and proved he deserved the decision (although I thought the first maidana fight was as clear as delight that Floyd put a whooping on that ass).

Truth is, neither of you two deserved the decision that night. The judges should have scored it a draw because it was inconclusive AF. Do the rematch and win more convincingly, then you can retire or duck Stevenson (everybody seems to think it's okay to duck him for some reason).

"again" is a stretch and a lie.

Let's be real, without his gold medal, he wouldn't be named.

Kessler and Froch and a win over Kovalev regarded by most fans and journalists as a loss (so not a controversial "split" decision) is a razor thin legacy .

People sht on Calzaghe's legacy, but the welsh has wins over an undefeated Kessler, but also Eubank father and a SD over a still live Hopkins.

                Not worse huh?

I respect Ward skills and courage but dude has been vastly overrated, proof being how he was supposed to school the euro bum Kovalev.

At least Calslappy made a record of 21 defenses so he has a much more solid legacy than Ward (is that really debatable?).

And Calslappy is labeled as an overrated bum by Ward's fan...
Well said. This Ward guy is the luckiest guy in boxing, arrogant, too full of himself, no humility, horrible to watch, his hugging and grabbing is barely legal he does it so much, and got an absolute gift decision from three countrymen judges.

I love the way he always says things like "...it's not for me to say..." when talking about himself but inevitable he will go on to say how great he is, how he won the Kov fight (he has no humility) and all his usual ****e. Awful imposter into the sport of boxing, he bends the rules like that baseball coach who stuck a midget in to bat.

I put my money on Ward and him adjusting in the 2nd fight. It was a very close fight. Not a robbery like Degale or Jack.

He's coming back. Sorry Kovalev fans but your boy is going to have to earn it the old fashioned way.

As a big Ward fan, I truly would like to see him rematch Kova, win or lose. Ward should simply rematch Kovalev and fight the Stevenson/Smith. No one would have been upset had he retired prior to the Kovalev fight, as the man has earned the right to retire in whatever way he so chose to. However, the fight with Kovalev was close (although I still had Ward winning) and warrants a rematch. Seeing as though Ward won, he deserves the bigger purse, but not by much. 55/45 or 60/40 at the MOST. anything over that, and I have to call Andre out for what it is- he's acting scared.
