Seems like Holly is done. She's fighting another girl who is apparently a decorated striker. I don't know much about her opponent. Shevchenko really dominated Holly after the first round, but she's a beast. With Rousey getting destroyed it's hard to see where Holm ranks. It's possible Rousey was going to get destroyed by any half way decent striker and Holm got the first crack.

Uh...I see NFL fans rip on the NBA all the time. Too many games, none of them really matter, only the last 2 minutes of a basketball game is interesting (and only if it's close), players are soft and flop too much...

Not saying I agree, but I see it constantly.

Also, more to the point, there is an inherent rivalry between boxing and MMA because the promoters all seem to cross hate each other, there is a brewing sense that fans can't appreciate both due to limited time and financial resources - so as a result, fans of one sport actively root against the success of the other sport, because in many ways, the other sport's success represents a diminished fanbase for their chosen sport.

But mostly, because this is Non Stop Boxing, there is an entire section devoted to UFC and MMA threads, and it's annoying to see people disregard that and lazily just post a thread in the first section they see.
