whilst there may be an element of truth in what Froch is saying, would the following be more accurate..... ?

Golovkin - whilst being a terrific fighter - is largely untested..... and Ward - despite being an outstanding fighter - will do whatever it takes to win.....

And for sure that's illegal.

Froch has said many times Ward won fair and square. So the b.s. that he's bitter is just ridiculous. He's just calling out Ward for stuff Ward DOES do illegally in fights. I'm surprised he hasn't been DQ'd at least a time or two... especially vs Kessler.

And BTW, the bitter one IS Ward. Always whining like we're supposed to kiss the ground he walks on. Guy is a boring fighter to watch, but he'll never take even the most remote of chances.

didn't two of those judges have Kovalev up 5-1 after 6..... despite rounds 3/5 being rounds they could have given to Ward had they been looking for justification?

they wouldn't have let Kovalev out 5-1 if they were fixing the score

Ward does have a point. He did give Froch credit after their fight and he's right about how it doesn't sound good when he's supposed to be a neutral commentator now.

that judge would be setting himself up to be exposed, because he had no idea how the 2nd half of that fight would play out

What Carl Froch says sounds bitter but it does hold merit.
Ward is a great fighter but doesnt he hold, use his head and grab somewhat excessively? Doesnt GGG have a poor resume?

Agreed. But he still sounds bitter! It's not a good sound, and sort of unbecoming a guy who was definitely a warrior but it is a reflection of the person he is.

He had the opportunity to fight both Ward and GGG and didn't pursue either fight with enthusiasm - particularly a Ward rematch.

Definitely more accurate but Froch is definitely very bitter about Ward, and jealous of the degree of recognition Golovkin gets off such a low level of competition.
