Wlad is boring, but he has been a respectable champion. It sounds like he knows he is over the hill though. If he can't pull the trigger and get off more than one shot he probably loses.

Jennings and Fluff Fury presented difficult targets to hit let alone hit cleanly, Joshua is not exactly known for being able to move gracefully, I think this is an exciting match and one that is coming at the right time I mean if this was pre 2012 Wlad would any of us be giving Joshua a shot at winning even after his victories over mediocre opposition such as Martin and Breazeale his career high wins ?

Vlads time is up. Thanks for everything but we should be grateful for a champion like joshua. Ready, willing and able to fight vlad even though he is still so green in terms of the fights on his resume. Just imagine if there was no joshua and wlad was trying to set up a fight with a coward like wilder?? Years would have gone by and that lanky chicken would still be feasting on tune up after tune up. I'm rooting for my boy AJ and objectively, I feel he wins too. Thing is, I can't begrudge one more big win on Wlad's resume, one more title run. The guy has just been an injection of class to an otherwise classless division.

Plus, if he really means what he says, then it sounds like he might be going looking for AJ.

Without Joshuas willing to seek this fight out now ,or no Joshua around the mega fight is Klitchko vs Wilder or Parker at best for this era ,which is a obvious k.o win for Klitchko . Now we have a mega fight not seen since Lewis vs Tyson . Boxing fans may write off the loser but the true knowledgeables know a fight like this usually ends up as a what if question . The differance with this fight is both are still relevant unlike 2000's Tyson .

We actually get the answer in a rare fight where two ,one punch k.o guys with excellent abilities have about the same chance ending the fight if they connect . Joshua will not be toying and looking for rnds and Klitchko will be as ready as he can be with more focus than weve seen him . As Klitchko stated Joshua will only improve the more he fights ,i cant see a more competitive match for him outside Klitchko ...... Parker , Wilder and Ortiz are going to be over matched with predictable results unlike this one even though Joshua is favored .

Klit may be dull as a fighter, but what he lacks in aggressive style he more than makes up for in experience and intelligence.

I don't think conditioning will be an issue, at 41 he will be stronger for the inactivity post Fury.

AJ will be tested beyond anything he has faced yet, even at 41 I'd suggest that Klit beats anyone on AJ's resume as just as decisively.

AJ is much, much more easier for Klit to fight than Fury - Fury has movement, better jab and is a much more natural boxer than AJ.

50/50 fight IMO, though I can see a clinch fest in the second half of the fight - AJ will gas like Bruno.

Hearn and some people think Wlad is done or on his way out, the fact that he took this fight in England made me believe he would be well prepared for it. The only thing here is both fighters need a strong refs, Wlad would be Wlad which means grab after one jab etc If he gets a weak refs then he is winning this fight all day long, Joshua would be holding for a strong refs that would break them up and not tolerate the holding, grabbing or mauling.

Me too, a highlight reel KO of another hype job proclaimed as the second coming. I could have swore we went though this only 3-4 years ago with David Price, incidently another Brit, evidently a trait Brits have a weakness for getting overly carried away whilst their new found hero faces mediocre opposition.

Because everything you just said applies to Deontay Wilder, who is pretty much the biggest hype job in the sport right now. And a KO waiting to happen.

Never mind 3-4 years ago, I could have swore we went through all this 18 months ago with Tyson Fury. How'd that work out again?

Based on Joshua's style, I think Wlad wins this. Similar size and style, but Wlad does everything better than Joshua and brings experience. Fury was a bit of a puzzle for Wlad and kept him guessing with his movement and surprisingly slick punches. Joshua is very stiff in comparison, very predictable and I just don't see where he beats him, unless Joshua can land a big shot early in the fight. Joshua also likes to take his time while going for a KO, something I think favours Wlad.

Also, Wlad is in good shape for this fight. Check out the photos of them side by side- Wlad looks like he's out gunning Joshua in the Bicep department.

I think while he's still developing Joshua needs his physical size and strength as an advantage, but he doesn't have that in this fight. And I wouldn't be surprised if Wlad is the fitter 12-round fighter even at 41. Wlad seems to carry his muscle more efficiently, it doesn't affect his stamina. Joshua does appear at times to be too heavy for his frame.

This fight has come 2 years too early for AJ in my opinion.
