Yes the 101 names I believe was the Mitchell report. They never released the names of who failed but 101 out of 750 MLB players during that time. The doctor I was talking about did an interview years later & discussed samples he was able to go back & test that they couldn't at the time. I'm pretty sure baseball told him to muzzle it...lol

MLB telling him to put a lid on it doesn't surprise me at all. Juiced up players like McGwire/Sosa and their home run binges, bought the crowds back to Baseball after the disaster of the strike-shortened season. They couldn't afford more PR - it could have turned fans away for good.

Baseball reaped the benefits, then made unethical moves to avoid the consequences.
