Danny's going to be Danny. It's really a question of what strategy Keith brings to the fight. Even though I think he leaves himself wide open at times, Thurman can punch on the move like no one Garcia has faced could. Even Khan started to plant himself right in front of Danny as he started to have too much success and get overconfident in classic Khan fashion.

Thurman has nice mobility but I don't know if he will use it. You get the sense from him that he'll go to war if he starts to get hit.

But I think ''slugger'' is not right for Thurman. Sluggers are like Ruslan or Rios.... however:

Porter also deserves a lot of credit going forward and bullrushing.

So he and Thurman both deliver. If Thurman were a conservative fighter, he'd be not as popular. When he goes into an attack, he likes to be explosive, combinations. Isn't that basically what Pacquiao was about? Didn't fans love to see Marquez do explosive combinations? Were Pac and Marquez just sluggers?

Agree with Abel on this one. Ever since the level of competition Thurman has been facing, his KO's immediately dropped. Guerrero, Bundu and Porter were walking through Thurman's shots without any problem. The only fighter I would think that KO's Thurman is either Crawford or Khan, but other than that, there is no one else to think, but Errol Spence could be a candidate, he never fought a strong puncher before, always feather fisted C-level fighters, so he needs some fights before we can decide.

Keith needs to win this one no matter how he does it. Not so long ago losing a fight like this would be a setback, but it wouldn't knock you back that much. At the pace careers seem to move at nowadays, fuck knows if the loser will ever be in a unification bout again.

With the exception of Bundu, I think he made a genuine step up from his previous opponents. But thurman has been fighting and knocking out good people throughout his career.
