Al Haymon embarrasses the Ali Act by bending it sideways

It is no secret that Al Haymon violates the Muhammad Ali Act being that he represents both the managerial side as well as the promotional side of a fight card promotion.

However, no judge or jury would ever prosecute him because his fighters get paid better than any of their peers in the industry. For those that aren't aware... the Ali Act was formed to stop situations like promoter Don King and his son Carl King would manage the fighters finding ways to cheat the fighters out of rightful purses.

The reality is that Haymon is acting similar to King technically but is providing the OPPOSITE in terms of compensation. No reasonably intelligent judge or jury would EVER convict Haymon of violating the Ali Act based on this simple premise... his fighters get paid well.

    Class is dismissed.

Point to a single example of Haymon's name on rental agreement, commission form, or any actual aspect of being a promoter, or shut the **** up.

Haymon has changed the model; one common pool of talent, the fighters and their camps agreeing to fights, and the agreed fight than going to the promoter that is best believed to deliver for the fighters in the fight.

          100% false.

haymon is not the promoter. the profits do not go into his pocket. he makes his money from management commissions. he uses his leverage to limit the profit the promoter can make, thus increasing the purses of his fighters, and therefore, the value of his management commission.

until you or one punch can present evidence to the contrary, these discussions are a waste of time.

F#ck the Muhammad Ali Act. I'm not sure it's actually even helped fighters any damn way. The promoter contracts fighters sign are still super f#cking sketchy + add on time to go well past your initially agreed upon contract length. You don't legally have the right to see the books for how much everyone is making off of your fight til like 2 minutes before they play your entrance music. The only thing the MAA did is put Don King outta business as the law would have more appropriately been called the Put Don King Outta Business Act. And while that was a good thing the Act overall isn't all that helpful to fighters dealing with issues in the business of boxing that are problematic well beyond being signed with Don King.

but the act killing don king is part of what allowed haymon to waltz in and take over.

and the act making it tougher to put your fighter with the in house manager is part of what allowed haymon to waltz in and take over.

fighters have been treated a lot better in the haymon era than they were in the pre-ali act era.

so the act did help in some ways.

                  You're missing the entire point...

Even if he is violating the act only a moronic judge would rule against him since the fighters are making out better than any rival en****** that actually follow the Ali Act.
