no.vargas needs to take a break and get some type of treatment to remove that scar tissue.then gbp should give him a couple of tune up fights to build him up again.dude has taken 3 straight beatings take him out before he's completely ruined for good if he isn't already.

Vargas needs to have surgery to remove the scar tissue and Golden Boy Promotions needs to bring him back the second part of this year.

I'm not sure their has been a tougher 3 straight opponents that anyone has fought tougher than Vargas and last night it showed. Golden Boy has to bring him back slowly to once again get another title shot down the road.

Another thing Vargas should consider is bringing in another trainer. Not a big fan of his head trainer maybe a Robert Garcia, Joel Diaz, or Manny Robles would do him wonders.
