Funny thing is, a loss like this doesn´t really hurt a fighter: close fight, plenty of action and entertainment and no excuses. Fans and excitement mean more than "0", no problem making the next big fight and another decent pay day. This is how real sportsmen present themselves.

If they would have given the fight to Frampton, how many posters on here would be saying "it was a close fight. It could have gone either way so it wasn't a robbery"
Hell, even some posters in the round by round thread gave the fight to Frampton after the 12th

Leo Santa Cruz is an elite fighter.

He has a lot of tools. He is a rare boxer for his style, bad luck he doesn't have good power.

Honestly I did not see Leo lost the first fight but well... good words for Carl.

I think the third fight will be more clear for Leo.

Another good fight, this time LSC had the better game plan.

He set out to use his height and reach instead of getting into a back and forth battle. On the other hand, I felt Carl got it wrong and was in there looking for the KO.

3rd fight will be very interesting stylistically.
