What are your thoughts on this fighter?......i think hes a great slick boxing technician but i also think he lacks the power to be a force for long term.

he looks good, if everyone had stayed at 122, wow. but he looked HUGE and put on a good performance against javier! he actually looked bored in there against him. good performance for the dominican.

I had watched a few of his fights previously and thought he was a good powerpuncher, but i didnt know he was so slick until i watched his last fight. But it was the second time he didnt make weight, he was over by two pounds. Maybe he lacks discipline idk.

He has great hand speed and snap on his punches, but the effort he makes for fights and in fights isn't at all good.

He was fighting at super feather as a welter, he came in 3 lb's overweight or something, this was his most recent fight.

Extremely wasted talent.

Damn hes fast..There is no question in the skills department.My questions are about his power and chin.Does he have the hands at SF?Will his chin hold up against a PAC left hand?Hmmmm....Lets wait and see...But so far, he is quite impressive. ;P

Joan Guzman pissed frank warren and scott harrison too much, wasted there time. i reckon scott wud have decked Guzman within 3 rounds. seriously. he was pissed off. and coz he didnt get to take the training out in a fight. he ***ed out outside of the ring.
