Loma said he would fight Pacquaio @ 135, so maybe Bob talks him into facing Mkey @ 135. If not, then Mikey needs to set his sights on Broner and Crawford. Mikey vs. Pac @ 140 would be a great one too! I doubt that happens because Arum is probably still pissed! Remember how he did Gamboa, when Gamboa was supposed to fight Mikey! Linares is THE champ at 135 and in one of the few divisions when you have an out and out champion, the other belt holders should be regarded simply as challengers.

By fighting the smallest and second least experienced of the belt holders, he is doing exactly what he doesnt want to, claims not to: cherry picking a title.

He should have gone straight after Linares. I know theres now the rematch with McD but Garcia is a more known commodity and would have gotten that fight if he'd wanted it.

Having said all that, I was being quite tongue in cheek with my comment. Garcia is going after a top 5 lightweight in his second or 3rd come back fight. I respect that. However, for him to keep his word, he should be fighting the winner of Linares v McD 2 next. Thats the only championship that matters.
