Comments Thread For: Carl Frampton Urges Leo Santa Cruz Not To Retire After Defeat

Carl Frampton is hoping to "go for a pint" with Leo Santa Cruz in Las Vegas on Saturday - but only after retaining his WBA world featherweight title. The two-weight world champion defeated Santa Cruz on a majority decision at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn in July to win the belt.

I've been thinking that the edge goes to Leo because it's like a home fight but I don't know.Sometimes guys don't come back from the first loss, mentally.I hope that's not the case.Leo seems like a really solid guy.Hope he's ready

sounds like u've been brainwashed by the leo santa cruz typecasting that went on before and after that fight

i'll give u one thing of hundreds that u need to notice in this bout that u and other likely didn notice in other bouts..

here it is: when leo is punched at 95% his guard and defense is always set..u may break through u may not

when frampton is hit 50% of the time it's his own fault bc he drops his hands repeatedly and doesnt pull his punches back for protection...

therefore the cleaner shots GOES TO WHO?? it aint rocket science..leo kicked his butt imo and now is being told to adjust very unfairly

Santa cruz sound ready for a loss. It's not a good sign that he is talking about retiring if he loses.

I was gon pick santa cruz by decsion, but after hearing that I think frampton stops him
