Mikey Garcia is exactly what I love about my favorite fighters. He is technically sound, fundamental, balanced, and has an incredibly high boxing IQ. He just happens to have concussive, one punch KO power.

too many physical disadvantages against a textbook fighter like Mikey..... and he will be open for the right hand
He did it every time while promoting Canelo and Mayweather fights, and any other Haymon fighter too. People still falling for it. The old "I'm afraid for my fighter, told him don't do it" routine. If RS was still promoting GBP fighters he'd do the same for Canelo moving up to 165 to fight Chavez Jr, he'd make Chavez Jr look like a death wish.

I barely knew Zlat before this fight, have heard his name a couple times and thats it. He beat one known fighter in Ricky Burns, Garcia much taller, longer reach and way better speed/skills. Was kinda wondering that the odds werent wider. Garcia with that long inactivity surely had alot to do with it. Mikey looked amazing, hopefully we dont have to wait forever to see him vs Crawford. Garcia will brutalize Linares and most others at 135.

Id rather see him fight Loma than TC, I think TC is going to be a division above him for a while, I see TC topping out at 147 maybe even 154 and Mikey topping out at 140.
