Is the second the fight that made me follow him as a fighter or a fight that made me follow the sport?

Oscar Valdez. I am sold on this kid no matter what his competition has looked like so far, he has the goods to be a great 126lb & 130lb champ, I just think his size will prevent him from going any further.

Marquez isnt so active but ive been a fan of him since his first pro fight. But what really made me a hardcore fan was when him and his bro Rafael fought on the same card back in 06 on showtime. He fought Jandaeng who wasnt a worldbeater but very rugged regardless. Marquez ate couple shots early but started timing the thai and it was the most beautiful display of arsenal ive ever seen. He threw every punch in the book fkin uppercuts from odd angles and from long distance. Prior to the first Pacman bout, Marquez was known as a defensive fighter who was economical with his punches. He was more of a safety first fighter back in the days but against Jandaeng, it was as if he understood that being more offensive will gain him more respect. He was in a kill mode against Jandaeng like ive never seen him before and his fights continued to excite after that.
