Jacobs and Golovkin is a 50/50 fight. Here is why...

and stevenson was too. so?
dirrel groves bute (he clearly won) and arguably beat degale>> quillin
jacobs has a trash resume no other way around it.. lol "dominated his division"Comment

so he's clearly better because another fighter also got Ko'd and you're a boxrec hipster?
i dunno how i can argue with that logic

what a ****** ****ing ******ed way to judge two fighters ability.
yes, the worst moment in jacks career is worse than jacobs' worst moment. but you cant sum up their abilities by that alone.
jack got caught cold early in a fight once, he has since then proved that he has a very good chin by taking big shots from big punchers and walking right through them.
jacobs on the other hand has been dropped more times than car keys and against guys who cant even punch. at no point in his career has he shown any sign of a good chin.
nor has he shown much of anything. look at their good moments, look at jacks wins against degale, bute, dirrell and groves (and he did win all those fights regardless of what he cards say).
than compare that to jacob's best wins. granted quillin is a good one, not as good as any of the ones mentioned on jacks ledger but still good. but beyond that his best win is fletcher, ishe smith or sergio mora. both mora and ishe hurt him by the way and neither one of them can punch.
jack would knock jacobs out. i would bet my ****ing d!ck on it.Comment

* says being dropped is a ******ed way to judge fighters*
* goes on to write an essay on how jacobs is crap because he's been dropped more times*

its your logic that is ******ed.
you are saying that because of one bad moment in a fighters career nothing else he has done matters. you are ignoring all the things he has accomplished and obsessing on a single punch several years ago.
the other guys is pointing that out and comparing it to another instance when a good fighter got caught by a lesser fighter. its as a way of showing you it isnt reasonable to simply judge a fighter on one moment regardless of what has transpired since.
would you judge lewis on the rahman fight alone as if that one moment in time is all that defines him? what about duran in one of his uninspired performances?
look at a fighters entire career and give him a fair assessment.Comment

jesus, you are dumb. you really dont understand anything, do you?
what i said was getting dropped once isnt reason to dismiss a fighter, especially when he has since proved he has a good chin.
if a guy is getting dropped on a consistent basis and at no point showed an ability to absorb a good punch thats obviously an entirely different scenario. which was the point. look at their entire careers and get the full story.
im guessing you are trolling though, i refuse to believe you can be this ******.Comment

how exactly am i obsessing?its your logic that is ******ed.

it's a valid point. im hardly focusing on it, you're the one who's getting mad over nothing and writing essays that make you look you're obsessed.
betting your ' **** ' on jack KO'ing jacob's means nothing, you're sold on jack being better, and i don't really care.
I just think its ridiculous to say 'its ******ed' like HanZgruber says, to even suggest a guy with arguably better skills and better amateur background is clearly worse than....badou ****ing jack. You then went on a mad tirade on someone else's ****** point

I've already established that Jacobs is underrated. He is in fact better than either Badou Jack and James Degale p4p because of his domination in his division(not close decisions) even including his loss. He's never lost a decision or drew with anyone.
Basically the only film on Jacobs is a single punch to beat him. He hasn't shown vulnerability anywhere else. He's never been outboxed over an extended period. He was never officially down on any scorecards. these are facts.
Now because he's fighting Golovkin, he has been relegated to bum status by the petrified darker skin posters. They are scared out of their tree that Golovkin is going to KO another one of their own.
Now let's examine the facts:
- Jacobs is faster hands than Golovkin (when gunslingers come to battle, whoever has the quicker draw has the edge, not who comes with the bigger gun)
- Jacobs has a sick left hook to the body. short and quick. with KO power
- Jacobs has a sick inside right uppercut
Due to these facts and most importantly due to speed.... Jacobs should deliver his shots off faster and more often to GGG than the other way around. I actually don't think even GGG can take Jacobs' power and he's getting up there in age.
GGG didn't look comfortable taking body shots from Monroe Jr. I have a sneaking su****ion that he might be weak there. Jacobs can come in and dig that left hook down there...... who knows we might have a tyrell moment.
GGG does have a better chin but it doesn't matter. Jacobs has the kind of power that erases a great chin. Like with Kid Chocolate. Quillin has a very very good chin. he started boxing late and he's slow with no head movement. He took Andy Lee's flush right hooks. The only reason he beat Ndam is because he took everything and the kitchen sink from Ndam and Ndam couldn't take his shots. But Jacobs blew QUillin out in 1 round.
