He's been a coke head for a long time. He's pretty much lost his family over it, damn near lost his promotional business over it and has been exposed as a closet cross dresser over it. If that wasn't wake up call enough, then I don't feel any sympathy for him.
Still, it doesn't diminish what he accomplished in the ring. Edwin Valero killed his wife, yet he's still considered a great boxer. Naseem Hamed was ran from a car crash scene, but still doesn't diminish what he did in the ring. Jon Jones fled a car crash scene involving a pregnant woman. Are their actions right? Of course not. Does it degrade what they did in the ring? No and it shouldn't.

We shouldn't hold boxers to a higher standard. They're not politicians or peace ambassadors. We should all support Oscar in this time of crisis and remember how he entertained us. Dressing in womens clothes, driving under the influence and other misdemeanours isn't that bad. The way you guys are going on you're making him sound like he was serial killer. I bet most of us have done worse.

I never said anything about him as a boxer. I actually he would promote his fighters to take on the top challenge way he did as a boxer. As a person though, I think he's a lowlife phony.
