Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua Aims To Fight in America, Unify With Deontay Wilder

IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (18-0, 18 KOs) is very motivated to build his name in the United States in the near future. He wants to follow the path of other UK fighters who made statements by fighting in the United States - like Lennox Lewis, Ricky Hatton, Joe Calzaghe, Amir Khan, and Naseem Hamed.

It's great to have goals and credit to AJ. Wlad still gives him a vicious lesson. Sheltered and chinny

In other words its the same blah blah blah...just like Joseph Parker been running his mouth : first I need to fight in American then this and that....Listen just sign the contract and I hope Deontay lays specific conditions in the agreement that penalizes any HW for failing a drug test -- just like my boy Canelo not playing games with Chavez jr....you go over a pound you pay me b*tch!

Sounds like something Eddie Hearn would co-sign.

I see Eddie Hearn's game now. They want to use Deontay Wilder as a stepping stone to gain popularity in the US. That's why they are so keen on having this fight in the US at the end of the year (or I really suspect, early 2018). Hopefully this is made at the end of the year, both with 2 belts and it's for the undisputed championship.

If Joshua wins Wilder vs Joshua's the only PPV that's worth tens of millions out there.Wilder's career purses = $10 mil. He'll make more than that on this one fight
