How many people actually saw the Jacobs Pirog fight?

LOL. Damn, man. You've fallen off. Pirog was getting beaten up? What's your definition of that? Jacobs won a few rounds, but Pirog was controlling that fight and then he used the shifting technique which obviously Jacobs had never thought of and laid him out. This is a ridiculous thread.

Because Jacobs was the guy they were backing at the time. Pirog was a nobody going in but he proved everybody wrong. Of course, some posters won't ever give a guy credit. Too bad he hurt his back. I'm sure he would have welcomed a rematch.

It was evident very early in the fight that Jacobs wasn't really going to figure Pirog out. He still landed punches of course but yeah he was the one controlling that fight.

Well people knocking him before the fight is fine, but after the fact? He did great and dropped Jacobs like a bad habit. I don't see any point in diminishing the man's victory over a young, unbeaten opponent backed by HBO at the time.
