Winner has the opportunity to unify which I expect they will rather than face Ortiz.

I think IBF will wait and WBA might get their nod.. FUry was the last IBF and WBA mandatory i recon and both orgs havent if one mandatory fight since Fury won..

IBF is going to do the same, so winner is losing a belt regardless. And then there are lots of unify option to avoid fighting Ortiz.

If AJ beats vlad I can see him taking up his ibf mandatory with Pulev, Hearn will be able to work out something with Ortiz seeing as he promotes him and AJ.

Knowing the WBA and the mess they are in, they probably threw at a dart board to figure out who was getting the mandatory shot.

Hilariously, even if the winner fights Ortiz - the WBA still has to sort though the Briggs/Oquendo and Browne mess. Which will probably take a while, as I can't see the IBF letting the winner fight two WBA mandatories in a row.

Or, as we should all expect - the WBA does next to nothing about the trinkets they've created, despite their insistence otherwise.

The winner can just fight Parker for the unfication because in boxing Unification can skip mandatory
