Watch Golovkin/Stevens right before round 2 ends. Stevens catches GGG clean with a left hook right before the bell sounds as G is pressing him and Gennady wasn't fazed in the slightest. So no, he wouldn't go down by Sergio freakin' Mora.

Stevens has a 62% Ko ratio Jabocs is at 92%, Stevens has power yes but why you guys bring him up but would call him a BUM in any other situation is baffling!

Jacobs' main issue is his chin. He's a solid Middleweight but outside of Quillin hasn't fought one solid consistent puncher since Pirog (in which he was KO'd). The only way to me Jacobs wins this fight is if he's VERY defensive and doesn't allow GGG to get any shots off while also landing clean punches himself. The chances of that happening are below slim to none. Along with GGG's power, the dude is VERY well schooled and knows what he's doing in there. I like Jacobs' story coming back from Cancer, but I don't think he sees the 8th or 9th round. The pace is gonna wear Jacobs down like everyone else.

I saw Jacobs tested against Pirog. He didn't pass the test.

No he didn't pass the referee holding and keeping him down on the canvas when trying to stand up test. He also lost his grandmother, battling cancer and still went on to win 11 to 12 fights in a row by KO, that is damn impressive!

You can look throughout my post history and see I've never called a guy a bum, so don't lump me in with others who have done so. And to the KO % ratio, I'm sure Danny's would be lower as well if he's fought up to LHW like Curtis. You can't just take their KO % at face value and compare them like that.

I'm not saying he is not a good fighter. And a good puncher. But he had a lot of trouble getting holding off the pressure Pirog put on him. Granted he had very good head movement and was an underatted talent, but probably not as strong and powerful as Golovkin. I know what you mean about the ref, but Jacobs went down as if he'd been shot, and I think he'd have been stopped had it gone on. It reminded me of how Seldon bounced up against Bowe.We know how that ended. I expect Golovkin to walk Jacobs down and stop him mid rounds, but we'll see.
