A mandatory ducking the champion (Khan/Garcia) and ducking the biggest pay day available is more cowardly imo.

Khan didn't even sell out his lasts fights in the UK.

Maybe Khan's popularity 4 or more years ago could warrant 70% or more, but not in 2017. Nobody in the UK gives a damn about him. Sky didn't even show interesting in getting the rights for his fight against Canelo, arguably the biggest name active fighter in boxing right now, aside from Manny.

Amir Khan 5 years ago v a fighter of that level would have been a PPV in the UK, even if the fight was in USA. Now they have no interesting in him. It ended up on BoxNation, nothing wrong with BoxNation but if Khan was still a star here in the UK, they wouldn't be getting his fights, especially against someone like Canelo.

I actually hope this latest episode will finally convince Brook that there are much more exciting opportunities out there than the inevitable knockout of glass jaw.Yes we all love seeing him rolling around on the deck but Kell has much bigger fish to fry.If he can still make welter then he should announce straight away a May showdown and proper fight with Spence.Let Khan do what he does , commentate on the fight and continue to pull only the mindless fools in with his child like rants of how great he is ......until some one reminds him of his last fight again.

Brook had to deal with his mandatory sooner than later. Khan won't be available for Kell till last quarter of 2017. The split is immaterial at this point.

Saying Brook is ducking Spence is laughable nonsense. Spence won the IBF eliminator in August and Brook fought GGG in September. Let's see.....Brook is afraid of Welterweight contender Errol Spence Jr but not Middleweight Champion Golovkin? That's idiotic at best.
