the guy doesn't have to be a great to not be a farce. his accomplishments are really nothing to scoff at. he and porter were the two best welterweights not named floyd or manny, and he beat porter without any controversy. beat him in a style that showed versatility, too. always thoght brook would box porter. he was able to use his height and strength on the inside and take away the zones at which porter is most dangerous.
you guys have to realize how serious an injury he suffered. that used to end a fighter's career. they go through your eyelid and install plates or screws into your cheek. you don't fight punchers right away. no problem at all with brook not taking spence, a genuinely big puncher at WW, in his first fight with a fresh set of screws under his f#cking eye.
