Comments Thread For: Gilberto Ramirez Wants The Biggest Fights Possible in 2017

According to Jesus Zapari, who co-promotes WBO super middleweight champion Gilberto Ramirez (34-0, 24 KOs) with Top Rank, he is expecting the toughest fights and biggest rewards for his fighter in 2017. Ramirez has been out of the ring since last April, when he captured the WBO world title from veteran Arthur Abraham of Germany.

He is one of the best young fighters out there undefeated lefty hard jab straight combos body and head good not great def and speed hits hard. Variety of punches like canella we just have to see chin Abraham couldn't land a punch could be a major star

I like Ramirez he looked well schooled vs Abraham. The SMW division needs to be unified it's a shame Badou has to move up as it leaves a question mark on the lineage.

Zurdo needs to get back in the ring ASAP! If he can make 2017 a good year he should go after the canelo/jr winner! If he remains unbeaten he might be sble to dictate the weight to fight the winner! Canelo/zurdo at 165-167 should be a great fight! However looking at GBP habits pf draining fighters it wouldn not surprise me if canelo asked for a 161-163!
