Canelo will have his moments, especially early, but nah, sorry man, I'm not seeing it in the long haul. Golovkin brings pressure and a way higher output than Canelo. 3rd quarter corner stoppage is my pick. Canelo's a tough kid.

We saw it couple of times and opponetts had some succes, also its not so Painfull ,GGG have trouble to let his hands go or find oppening ,He is best in mid range beginde jab,and occasionaly counter punches, also he hunts,he dont like to trade,Ouma or Monroe fights show some holes here and there ,not saying Canelo destroy him inside but he have plenty room to do damage.

Right. An opinion is just that but just like Vegas had Floyd at a minimum of 1-3 over Manny,I'll wait to see their opinion on GGG/Canelo

Well yes, I think so too. In fact I give Lara next to no chance, although he may extend things a bit by staying on his bike, whereas at least I give Canelo a shot. But the poster I was replying to wasn't necessarily talking about a 'runner', more making the general point that it'd take someone with sufficiently good footwork to create space and angles - which ain't necessarily the same thing as a 'runner'. And yes - I agree it'd also have to be someone who could take the fight to GGG whose inside work is perhaps the least proven aspect of his game.

We shall see. Most try to keep away from Golovkin when they first get hit but keep in mind Willie Monroe had his moments when he quit running and started fighting on the inside. Monroe is not a world class fighter. I don't think Canelo is going to win, but I do know he is not going to run or hide. His inside work, counter punching, and work to the body might make it difficult for Golovkin.

No, he can't fight inside that's how you saw Monroe have the best sucess on the fight when he went total inside, Wade did it just below 10 seconds too, Stevens tagged GGG bad fighting on the total inside.

GGG is a medium range puncher, watch him he needs that distance pull full force in his shots, he ain't a good inside fighter, u know what an inside fighter is? Mike Tyson was a hell of a inside fighter, Duran was a hell of a inside fighter.

In fact Canelo is a better inside fighter than GGG.

If you barely watch anyone fighting GGG at inside it's not because it's painful it's because GGG get's that nasty Jab to keep u at medium distance, he doesn't like another dude being rested against him, he can't punch that way.
