Valero did good but was very open, EM opened him up but Valero held his own.

Seen this vid many times. Valero actually did better if you ask me, but it was good competitive sparring either way. Morales was on the slide by this point, it's unfortunate he didn't match up with Pacquiao a little earlier in his career.

Anybody who thinks Valero was just an unskilled brawler is dead wrong, as this vid shows. He had skills and was a very good combination puncher.

Imagine if Valero fought Pacquiao? I would like to see that. I wonder how that fight could've went. Valero/Pacquiao.

        Prolly action packed, imo.

For a knock out artist, Valero is very disciplined in his punches. He never goes in brawling, he always sets up his jab first before feinting and countering.

I watch those tapes of Valero sparring quite often.Even though he's a murdering p.o.s,that man had a ton of raw talent.

He could've been one of the greats.

Great vid! never seen it before. There were times when these two went at it but Morales, man he showed some class here. Pure genius here against the southpaw slugger. Btw were they sparring for the first fight?
