Yeah. Eddie said in an interview he's never made any money off a Kell Brook fight so he was going to try & convince Kell to take the Vargas fight for less money because two belts will lead to bigger fights. And he was gonna lose money on the Vargas-Brook fight but it wouldn't hurt because the GGG-Eubank fight would make money. Two days later he announced the Brook-GGG fight. If you recall, Vargas-Brook had that original September date but once Eubank Jr said he wanted to fight GGG Eddie pushed the Vargas-Brook fight to October. That fight wasn't gonna be made unless the GGG-Eubank Jr fight was made. That's why Vargas had signed his end of the deal in May & it was July & Kell still hadn't signed his end.

That's why when I hear about concern from his team about fighting at 147 I call BS because nobody was concerned about his health when there was millions to be made fighting GGG just like they aren't concerned about his health when there are millions to be made fighting Khan. Brook has been on PPV, was involved in the biggest or close to the biggest promotion last year, world champ, active in the UK + he has a broadcaster and a powerful promoter behind him.
