Comments Thread For: Top Rank Prez Eyes Deontay Wilder vs. Joseph Parker Unification

New York - WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker (22-0, 18 KO’s) is one of the talented young fighters in a growing heavyweight division. The division is in a transition stage ever since Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KO’s) dethroned Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53 KO’s) and won the IBF, IBO, WBO, and WBA world titles in November 2015 in Germany.

Just waiting for Wilder to finally fight someone with a pulse so he can get his lights put out and stop holding that belt Hostage. I'll give Parker a good chance of winning but he needs to tighten up his defense a bit as he gets tagged ALOT. you know unless you're Stiverne or Dahaupas, you cannot afford to do that S**t against Wilder, but that's all he is, an average fighter with a good punch even C level Szpilka was outboxing him before he got caught.

Disappointing news, fight the mandatory ( ****** Hughie Fury ) invade the U.S.A = fight another opponent....and then MAYBE fight Wilder then you have that meathead Juiceua planning a similar schedule of fighting in the U.S.A but when are these guys stepping up to fight the real HW champion?! I see more ducking from these guys ; nobody wants to risk getting flatten by the Bronzebomber just yet so why they mentioning Deontay?! we want them belts NOW!

What a shame looks like Deontay will have to face his mandatory Dillian Whyte I just hope Wilder is able to get passed Andrzej Wawrzyk first. Fingers crossed!

If Parker is fighting Hugie he's going to lose, so how's there going to be a unification fight???

TR always willing to put their unkowns versus someone elses good fighters, but not the other way around. You can get a Parker vs Wilder, but no way to a Crawford vs Spence (I think that would be great trade offs) both sides risking fighters with audiences to make great match ups.

It's crazy how Top Rank has managed to worm themselves into the heavyweight picture.

Would rather see Wilder-Parker than Parker-Hughie TBH

                  Make the fight happen!
