Testing before the fight is more important than months before.

It's truly a sad day when a well known member of NSB is defending someone not getting drug tested.

No matter which fighters you like or dislike, making excuses for potential cheats make you a scumbag.

When the WBC worked out the details for the VADA program, they probably didnt take into account that other champions (well regular champion) are not ranked by the WBC.

But still, the objective for the rule was to flush out the cheater or make it at least more difficult for them. So it's only logical that Jacobs has to take the test too, if he wants to fight for the belt.

But even if he really doesnt have to take the test (no wbc obligation, no contractual obligation), he should still take the test, because it's the right ****ing thing to do.

Who would get the ducking stigma, if Golovkin would have insist on VADA testing and Jacobs wouldnt agree?
Golovkin for unreasonable demand or Jacobs, because he doesnt want to take the test (pretty shady).

If k2 goofed during their negotiations then that's on them for being too unintelligent to have those tests involved leading up to the fight.
Me personally, I would prefer all title fights, wbc or not, to have random testing.

                  This isn't true.

People started caring about testing once fighters started getting caught left to right and people realized how dirty fighters are.

Like I said, it's becoming the norm/standard now for top fighters to be tested. If you're not being tested then you're gonna look guilty af. Especially for a fight like this.

Let the commission handle the testing. What, are you a chicken?

No. Testing the whole time is better. From months before, and before the fight too...
