why do people say chavez will be drianed? becaus there is no other way for him to get down to the weight. canelo and gbp, and chavez, all know this.

this fiht is a shameless money grab. canelo and his people want easy money for this one, and look like they're eventually looking to get in there with golovkin. they know canelo doesn't have prospects for other big fights, that his style doesn't lend itself to fighting bigger guys. i think we're starting to see canelo being "cashed out." it will take a few years, but don't expect canelo to fight much longer after he's 30.
So was he drained in Andy Lee fight or Martinez fights yes ,but he was still going strong,he have 4 months ,his right after fight and in training now, will be brutal fight ,55/45 Canelo.

of course he was drained. he just had the advantage being 10 + lbs heavier on fight night, which negated the effect of his being drained against lee, and allowed him to have a good 12th against martinez.

you guys might have some kind of agenda that poisons your brain into thinking the guy with the ****** in stomach, who put on 20 lbs and looked like a different guy in 30 hours, didn't absolutely murder himself to make weight.

me, i'm not psycho, and i call things the way they are.

Because he's undisciplined and will have to do a major water cut to make weight.

              skipped what?

Your basic premise is that Canelo v Chavez is a good fight because Duran and Leonard was...completely forgetting that both are all time greats and two of the best fighters on the planet at that time.

None of that can be said about Canelo and Chavez plus this fight isn't even for a world title, so I repeat, what is the relevance beyond making a quick money grab off of gullible "fans"?

Setting up personal hatered, who is the best in Mexico ,son of legend,or boy from poor family who made it to the top,

Duran was guy steping in the ring with american hero, and he upset him ,it was not about title ,it was personal ,Duran thought Ray is a *****,they had diffrent vision of boxing it was personaltys clash.Ray was treing to prove Duran wrong and he lost ,

Both fights are close, ofc Duran-Leonard is mor importat from history point of viev and how big it was ,still both fights have background and we dont know winner.

                    Exactly this!

Only a Canelo fan can ask such an ******ity regarding to this weight.

This little f@g can't make 160 for Golovkin, yet he makes 164.5 (a new weight) for Chavez while draining Chavez to death.

And I thought Gayweather was bad for the sport.
