Hoping Bazooka Joe ends it early, he can with his rocket launcher right hand but Superman Stevenson has that speed and nuclear left that can end a fight with just enough mustard on that punch!
Joe should use Fonfara fight gameplan, play possum and feign being hurt and when Stevenson throws that left, counter with a right and it's likely good nite!
adonis is 40, ppl lie a lot and say he's chinny...why tf should a prime strong fighter be scared to get in the ring and go for the biggest prize vs a so called declining champ...
i guess he should work his way up fightin beterbievs for no belts...u're the lester diamond and dont even know it
Because he's not a prime fighter as he's still using his chin for his defense which wont bode well against someone like Stevenson. Buy a clue please !

ok so he should go use his chin for defense in a fight vs who and lose the momentum he has or strike while he's hot??
u dumb dog..the division is stiff one off night and your run is over..test your mf'n luck then get better..

Bottom line= Stevenson is a guaranteed L for him right now.
And since his rising star is predicated on winning and staying undefeated, a loss at this early juncture may not be salvageable for his career, especially since his home base is the unforgiving NY crowd.
The difference between you and I is that I seem to think he's a fairly viable fighter, although he has a lot to learn and therefore needs time to develop. While your suggesting he's never going to amount to anything so he might as well risk it all now . Your premise is very presumptuous and premature.
Pigeons mentioned earlier quite a few names in the division that are viable and can essentially continue to build his brand while allowing him to gain invaluable in-ring experience which he needs. It's a loaded division, he can definitely keep his stock rising without Stevenson right now. No need to risk it all so fast.

the point of a career is to get somewhere special in ..not to be a damn rising star while your 30...get lost with this stay a chump not a champ ****.
him not being able to beat a 40 year old is some presumptuous **** from you...i guess it takes one presumptuous mf to know one..
And u sound like one of the those guys who don't know the difference between the likes of a Stevenson/Kovalev vs a Fanfara/50 year old Hopkins type caliber fighter. Let's not compare apples to cucumbers. While its unacceptable for someone of Danny Garcia's caliber to attempt to fight cans every time, it's understandable for a new comer like Smith to be allowed to develop before fighting Stevenson who's arguably the very best at 175 Furthermore, he has a lot to lose as he's had a meteoric rise since being the 1st to stop Hopkins and upsetting Fanfara. Why take the wind out of his sail so early?
Smith, with a good showing, doesn't lose any steam, even in defeat. And Stevenson is not the top guy at LHW. Kovalev and Ward are in that position. This is a great opportunity for Smith, and he should take it IMO. Great paycheck, excellent chance to catch the chinny Stevenson. Those are excellent odds with really no downside unless he gets blown out in 1.
I guess it all depends on whether or not your naive enough to believe that Stevenson vs Fanfara was the real Stevenson? Needless to say I don't .
You're, not your. OK? Can we finally get that little detail figured out? Geez. Grade school stuff here.
As for your theory that Stevenson is a different fighter than he was vs Fonfara, that's debatable. He still makes mistakes, that's evident. And he isn't Superman after all... that's just his moniker.
Again, you are all acting as if this guy has a future in boxing. He doesn't. Why would anyone wanna protect him or build him up? If you win, you win huge. If you lose, you will get another offer somewhere else.
Yep. That's the big picture that some refuse to see.
