I agree. My point was Schaefer wanted a way into the UK/Europe market and this was his easiest way.

David Haye and him split the promotional stuff while Schaefer develops his European talent over there.

Hopefully we see what this coming TV deal ends up looking like, tbh; David Haye on the marquee, as far as I see it, may end up being a red herring for a developmental platform for Tony Yoka (likely capped with Haye being fed to him before Yoka gets set to challenge for the heavyweight championship.

I don't see it like that at all. Remember while oscar was coked out of his mind Richard was out creating big time events and developing talent. I bet that aside from Canelo (because Richard brought him into a star) ringstar will do better this year

Its funny that Slick Richie came from banking to boxing & excelled like he did, while Oscar is from boxing yet doesn't seem to be as fit for promoting as Richie. But thats the reality in my eyes & on a level playing field Slick Richie outperforms Oscar all day every day & based on the pick ups Slick Richie is making I foresee him being equal (counting Canelo) or better than GBP in the next 4-5 years.

Yea cuz he signed a non-complete clause when he took his job with GBP. Slick Richie didn't get suspended from boxing like a guy who used a banned substance. Slick Richie was gone like anyone would have been in a similar situation cuz thats how things work in these types of businesses.

F#ck man I used to work for a guy in the poker industry & I had to sign a non-compete clause. I couldn't work for anyone in the poker industry for a set period of time not because I was slimy, but because of the document I signed.

Supposedly Shakur is deciding between TR & Roc Nation. Assume TR is all but a lock cuz they move young guys great however you happen to feel about Bob & idk wtf Roc Nation is doing to move up their prospects cuz all their guys seem to just float onto random regional promoter cards since RN doesn't seem to run many shows.
