Yes it's true but boxing is a tough sport to score even for the close followers. It's true the public believes that Pac won but they are just people whose boxing knowledge is based on the Rocky series, another think they know is the famous line "float like a butter fly, sting like a bee."
Their argument is worthless, they just say what the commentators and critics (like bums in espn, whom we watch for fun) say.
Just like the life of a person who spending his time learning and educating himself is much more important than some bum watching TV and laughing at crap that only a fool laughs at, common boxing fans' arguments are worthlesss.

I thought it was fair to give Pacquiao about 3 rounds. Floyd clearly showed he was the superior boxer.
