how will conor counter the first shot manny throws? im curious to hear this. manny usually always is moving side to side, conor has never seen movements like this before.

im not one of the people who thinks a boxer can go to mma and beat one of the best from there. what im saying is, conor's style is 95% stand up and that manny will have a better chance of beating conor at mma than floyd would. im not saying pac will beat conor.

Im really kind of surprised I have to break this down but ok.

The very first punch Manny throws McGregor should and probably will move to either smother him or immediately take him down. If he just ties him up to smother Paq from punching there wont be a ref coming to break them and this is where the fight ends. Manny is now somewhere he has never been and wont be prepared for even if he trains take down defense exclusively the entire training camp. Conor will take him down and end the fight in any number of ways that Manny will have little to no defense against. The only and I mean only chance he or any other boxer would have is to land the home run immediately in an MMA fight.

Im not saying a boxer cant transition to MMA and be successful but they would get smoked in a one off fight like this. There is a reason you dont see Floyd and Manny saying they will take the fight MMA rules. They know full well they would get embarrassed.
