Video of Ricky Hatton at 140

A pretty good video showing Hatton as he consistently stepped up in competition.

Please dont mention Collazo in this thread. There are 234567 other threads for that.

I would rather see a whole round not his greatest hits, but he does have good speed at Jr WW. From what i can tell though all those people are standing toe to toe with Hatton a boxer(that'll stick to boxing) at 147 could handle him, but i gotta say at 140 he looks much faster then he did on sat. very enlightening, if he has some of that speed in the rematch, he'll take care of Collazo(had to do it).

thats Hatton at his best. Thats the hatton we were looking for on saturday, but didnt find. When he fights like that, he is unstoppable.

Uhm, you got to realize who he was fighting in those videos.

Yeah, it was a nice video, but use your head man. Hatton at his best isn't unstoppable. NO ONE is. In fact I had the 38 year old Kostya ahead in the fight before he quit.

The key words there are "before he quit." And considering everyone though Hatton would get KOed in 8 rounds, its pretty impressive how he made the other guy quit.

ANd there are some very impressive competition in there, and some guys are just good. But even the okay fighters he fought, he put on such a great performance against them that it wouldn't have mattered who he was fighting.

great video. that is the hatton we should be seeing next fight. i hope he goes back down in weight if he cant fight like that at welter. easily the best body puncher in the biz in those fights. and the early rounds of the collazo fight he was landing those shots as well.

                Like who?
a 38 year old inactive KT?
                a 37 year old Pep?
a B (at best) class fighter in Pendleton?
An already exposed Tackie who lost his two previous fights? Or even 4 of his last 6
a 36 year old Oliveria who got TKO'd in the 8th round by AUGUSTUS (earlier than Hatton did it) in his very next fight.

Please don't ever say again that Hatton is "unstopable" when you look at the competition he's faced. And those are Hatton's best wins, which is laughable, with the exception of KT.

He was but without the snap or power that is usually behind them. but he was throwing them with the same consistancy, i agree.

Again, if hatton can fight with brilliantly fast left hooks to the body like he did in most of his fights, i dont think anyone could be a true threat to Hatton at 140.

he is dominant at that weight. i hope he fights the winner of castillo/coralles soo. i hope it is castillo because i would fear for coralles life if he had to fight castillo again and follow it up with a hatton fight. coralles is starting to look beat up.
