Comments Thread For: Garcia Feels His Resume Stronger Than Thurman's, Has Proven More

NEW YORK Keith Thurman has questioned Danny Garcia's credentials as a welterweight champion. Thurman, basically a career-long welterweight, views Garcia as a proven 140-pound fighter, but an unproven commodity among 147-pounders. Garcia still believes he is more prepared for their welterweight title unification fight March 4 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn because he has beaten better opponents than Thurman.

Feel he is completely unproven at WW but at Jr. WW he was impressive. My main problem with Danny is choice of competition over the last couple years. We know he can fight so why fight the Salkas and the Vargas guys who are no-hopers. He is stepping it up finally at WW so lets see what happens. I think One Time spanks him, would love it too just to see his crackhead dad shut his big mouth

His resume is better than thurmans. The problem is that we all remember the beating that peterson gave him. He was lucky that night and he knows it.

Is Danny really still bragging about his resume? He hasn't faced a real challenge since 2013, except when he looked like **** againt Peterson in 2015. Its 2017 now.

Resume won't have anything to do with winning this fight.

Danny has a good resume and a good chin, but he lost to herrera and rheb fought salka to get confidence back, and the. lament beat him up pretty good, then fought pointless fight against Guerrero and another tune up. I think Thurman going to outshine Garcia, smarter fighter, quicker and sharper
