By Thomas Gerbasi - It was the middle finger heard round the world. Two of them actually, and when it was all over after Michael Conlan let the judges know how he felt about the larcenous decision he lost to Russia's Vladimir Nikitin in the quarterfinals of the 2016 Olympics, the Belfast product thought his response was going to hamper his professional future in the sport he loved. "I thought I had messed things up and that people aren't gonna want to be involved with me," Conlan said. "But it was the complete opposite." That's...

Wow. For all the press this you man gets on this site you would think he won the Val Barker trophy.

Any chance Shakur Stevenson gets HALF the press or does he not have the right connections?

The thing is that Conlan was robbed in Rio, he is an olympic bronze medalist and world champion and he was the reason why the AIBA sent judges and referees out of the olympics.
Shakur has done very well when it comes to media, he was in the 30 under 30 of Forbes and i think he was one of the two persons that were under 20 in that list and also was promoted by showtime on the Pedraza vs Davis build up, Shakur has the best marketing of all the members of the USA team.
