There are many fighters who moved from lower weights to beat guys who had been at welterweight for donkey years. His father is a good trainer and has produced some great results. Thurman is a good fighter but Danny is better. Danny will use Thurman's own movement against him.

Thurman is very uncomfortable with pressure as was shown with porter. Garcia can wilt under pressure too as was shown with Peterson. Both have had troubles with slick fighters, collazo and Herrera. But individually neither is especially slick or pressure oriented. This is a great match up because each has had their best fights versus boxers who approach the game in their own mold, boxer punchers who are willing to trade. I feel like Thurman relies on his hand speed and power as his main weapon while Danny relies on his timing and setting traps. I think Thurman will have more than a few moments and Danny will be able to time him as the fight goes on. Danny by ud

        ...................

Danny wins by KO up to round 6. if it goes the distance it will be a close fight with Danny getting the nod.
Great fight for sure but I think "one time" is going to get "one timed" his nick name will fit him very well!

        WAR GARCIA!

I'd be curious how Danny Garcia reacts to a fighter like Bradley. With Bradley, probably the most versatile fighter in the welterweight division, who can brawl, box (slick style) and counter punch, and has the skills to do so.

I think Thurman needs to hurt Danny. He leaves himself very open coming in and if he trades with Danny with his head in the air he'll be in trouble. Making Garcia respect his power is essential for Keith. If he can't hurt him I think he could lose more exchanges than he will win.

If Peterson could run him that close then Bradley would beat him. Peterson is Bradley-lite. Always thought TB would beat Khan for the same reason.
