How highly do you rate daniel jacobs?

Danny Jacobs is currently running about a 3.2 GPA. Not bad.

I put B+.

He's an A fighter if you grade on a curve doe.

In the school of middleweights he's an A fighter, top of his class and ahead of his peers.

In the school of p4p (which is mythical anyways), he's above average, so maybe a B fighter.


So in other words, this fight establishes a new MW king, but doesn't do much in terms of p4p (which shouldn't matter because it's mythical anyways).

I'd say B, if he had a better chin, A- Good fighter not great

B+ for me.... won't disagree with B but I think he's a bit better than Murray, and Geale who were B level. Quillin is his only top 10 win, if he had a couple more of those then he could an argument for being A- or more.

I have to say if you watch the Mora fight, Jacobs looked pretty unimpressive. When Mora hit him with that left hook he went down pretty easily. If Golovkin gets to him like Mora you know what will happen. Maybe Jacobs has improved since last year but just sayin.
