If Jacobs beats GGG will there be calls for Canelo to fight Jacobs?

No it wouldn't. He would lose to Jacobs, then Jacobs and Canelo would fight, and GGG is awarded with the winner having done nothing but lose previously? This isn't Bob Arum's stable where you have to keep cycling through the same few fighters

I'd rather see Jacobs vs Canelo then Jacobs vs GG to be honest. I think they matchup better vs each other.

C'mon cobra, they didnt even want to fight GGG much less fight a guy that beat the guy unless Jacobs looks like Meldrick Taylor after he fought Chavez the first time, Canelo will play the waiting game.

If GGG loses, he has to get back in line & earn another title shot.. But Jacobs would be well on his way to the next big star after Canelo in MW or Caneloweight or around 155-165 lbs weight..

it would kill any shot of GGG getting a Canelo fight this year. At best GGG would need a rebound fight or 2 and maybe next year he could get the fight.

If Jacobs wins the fight, the Haymon-ODLH live beef would kill any move toward Alvarez-Jacobs; if anything, you'd see an immediate move to lock-in Saunders-Alvarez for the September PPV (with Golden Boy/HBO doing everything in their power to trumpet WBO champ Saul "Canelo" Alvarez as the "true middleweight champion", with Jacobs defending his three belts out of Brooklyn).

It's the story of Trout-Cotto all over again.

Trout won so Canelo-Trout became the better fight. Cotto worked his way back into a position where Canelo-Cotto became a big fight again and then it happened.

Just the same I'd expect Canelo-Jacobs to become the more attractive fight initially if Jacobs wins. But, GGG is both popular and good enough to probably ultimately get the fight anyway.

If by some miracle Jacobs beats both fighters, not sure what would happen.

Canelo wouldn't want Jacobs if he won..period.

He won't even go near Andrade or the Charlos at 154.
