Why is everyone doing this "the subject that shall not be named" group silence agreement and making up all these new reasons why Jack is good now? This is a guy that never had elite power or looked like a special athlete, he got knocked out in round 1 by an unknown, then he got working with Memo Heredia and suddenly he is a tank. Why are we beating around the bush? This is the first fight he did VADA with, but he had a long layoff before this fight which he probably used to cycle PEDs before testing started, then he was able to peak and get the performance benefits months later when the fight happened, which is how it works. That's how it appeared to me in my own personal opinion, which is all this post is.

I mean Breadman I don't have no inside knowledge, but if I had to pick one fighter in the whole game to bet money on that he was juicing, I would probably pick Badou Jack.

And hell, I think Degale's previous opponent, Medina, was also on PEDs. You can talk about Degale's wasted movement and how he needs to not throw every punch with 100% force, but I actually disagree that that is the problem. I think one of Degale's problems is that he did NOT throw enough hard punches. Or rather, he couldn't dent the Memo Tank coming at him all night, and got tired, so he didn't have energy to throw hard punches. He actually did vary the power on his shots and throw lots of SRL-Hagler showy flurries with nothing on them that Jack caught on the gloves and walked through.

So did Degale have stamina issues? Absolutely but are those because of him, or because he keeps fighting guys who appear to be on PEDs?

The question I have for you Breadman is not if Jack or Medina were on PEDs, but is Degale on them? Because if he's not, that would be really ****ed up if a clean fighter just fought THREE likely PED-using fighters (Bute, Medina, Jack). If Degale was also on PEDs, then I guess he's just not that good, but if he's clean and they aren't, then what we are seeing is a talented, dedicated boxer getting his career and face destroyed by cheating, less talented fighters benefiting from artificial strength, stamina, punch resistance, and power that Degale simply cannot match.

That would be messed up. It's actually hard for me to imagine that Degale could be clean and his promoter would put him in with these guys back to back. Like what is Eddie Hearn thinking? Memo Heredia is the most su****ious "strength and conditioning" coach in boxing, and Hearn put Degale in with three guys who not only are su****ious in terms of PEDs as I already mentioned, but who I think all worked with Memo.

If I was a promoter, I might start putting it in the contract that if you are going to fight my boxer, you cannot work with strength and conditioning coaches who keep having these insane, su****ious effects on the fighters they work with. Or if you do, then you have to be drug tested a full year straight, random olympic style, by VADA before you can fight my guy. Except Memo is on video saying he can just change one molecule or whatever in the chemistry formula and create new PEDs constantly that don't show up on any of the drug tests. So if I was a promoter, why would I let my guys face any boxer who is working with someone who ON TAPE admits that they know how to make drugs that can beat any drug test without getting caught?

That just seems really dumb unless you know your boxer is using too, so it's a fair playing field. But I don't know man. The way Medina and Jack just walked through everything Degale threw, while Jack's shots just completely destroyed Degale's face, teeth, eardrums, is the textbook look of one guy being on PEDs. What Jack did to Degale's face and teeth reminds me either of loaded gloves, had kind of the Margarito-Cotto look (IF those were loaded gloves), or PEDs. And I don't think Jack wears loaded gloves at all, so you tell me. This was Badou Jack, not George Foreman.

The type of damage he is putting on guys is not at all in line with who this guy was. He only has 12 KOs in 24 fights and that's counting the fights with Memo.

I MEAN FOR CRYING OUT LOUD THIS IS THE DUDE WHO ONLY BEAT ALEXANDER BRAND BY SPLIT DECISION, AND WHO COULDN'T KO GROVER YOUNG, FARAH ENNIS, PERIBAN, OR JASON ESCALARA, BUT NOW HE'S BREAKING TEETH AND EARDRUMS IN UNIFICATION MATCHES??? Really??? And that's natural???

If Jack was juicing, then VADA and the WBC rules are totally useless!

Bread is right . . Max Kellerman should replace Dan Rafael as the go-to guy for boxing at ESPN.
