Ali went three times life and death with Frazier and Norton, two guys Foreman stopped easily.

Rumble in jungle 2 should had happened. In that case Ali woulnt`t be considered "the greatest"..

Many think that Ali should of called it quits after the Rumble In the Jungle. However I still believe that Ali had the stamina that Foreman lacked. If the fight went deep Ali would of had the legs to out work him. however if the fight happened after Ali v Fraiser 3 I think Foreman would of won. And would of won the rubber match because Ali was a shell of himself after that.

But we also need to put in perspective that instead of fighting once or twice a year like boxers today Ali (for example) was having 4-5 fights a year for example Ali fought every month from April to July of 72.

So more than likely a boxers career back then was a lot shorter than today. So Ali at 32 was already on the decline.
