Russian commentary says, ''Knockdown'' on Golovkin, Tapia left hook. Do you agree?

I can't see what's happening from that angle. Can't see if the punch is landing or if Golovkin is avoiding it.
Since I can't see evidence of a proper knockdown, the burden of proof is on you.
And he certainly ain't hurt.Comment

I can't see if Tapia's punch landed, and technically I can't even see if GGG's gloves hit the canvas (although they appear to have), but if both of those things are true then it was a clean knockdown. My guess from what I can gather in this clip is that it was not a knockdown.
My impression from Crawford-Postol was that that last punch didn't land. Postol was unsteady from a prior big shot. Would have to see it again from an earlier point though.
Floyd was cleanly knocked down in that video, the ref missed it. Not that it would have mattered though.Last edited by BrometheusBob.; 01-17-2017, 05:44 PM.Comment

Its your video, you took the time to slow down the Crawford and Judah clips, why not the Golovkin footage instead of just stating "oh it landed". Silly ******.Comment

slow motion is for losers! who wants more detailed information? this is boxign sir. that simply will not fly. if you think a punch landed then it landed! if you think it missed then it missed! this is the way it has always been.Comment

Um was it called a knockdown? Maybe the ref watching from much closer and a better angle and who could see their feet might be best to decide that. It is sort of his job.Comment
