Well thurman already has a fight for a title. He has more to gain in that fight than fighting spence who has no title. Brook just fought GGG and is still recovering from a broken eye socket and may not even come back to 147 because its too hard to make weight.

I dont think either of them are scared of spence.

if spence was jo jo dan or kevin bizier this fight would have been made already. they are hesitant because they dont know if its worth it fighting a tough guy like spence when they might move up anyway.

to answer your first question maybe because brook had no issue with facing his mandatory's but now seems to care more about money fights

Spence is better than Lacy. And Brook only had 1 good win in his resume. that was a close fight vs. Shawn Porter.

Gamboa gave him problems?? Crawford was leading on all the score cards & he did knock him out - a very good win.. Burns is a decent win & Postol was a legit titleholder at 140 & a very good win.. Keep undermining every achievement & it'll make your point right is it?

Brook has done jack chit since beating Porter unless you think Jo Jo Dan & Bizier are sure great than Gamboa & Postol..
