Since when did spence become the boogeyman?

You do the exact same thing with Beterbiev tho? Just like Spence, he hasn't had the opportunity to prove himself against top level opposition, but you say Ward won't fight him, he would beat Ward (which may be true) etc. Why? Because you're judging him based on skill/eye test, which is fine, but why can't you apply the same logic with Spence instead of being double-standard? Do you not think Spence looks every bit as impressive as Beterbiev on the eye?
Spence looks way better than Beterbiev on the eye test.Comment

Replace the names Brook with Khan & Spence with Brook, then you see people will have a different view about it..
Brook-GGG was always a win-win for Brook like it was for Khan against Canelo. If they lose, they still keep their title/mandatory position & in turn pocket career high payday.. So let's not rub this went up in weight & fought a bigger man, we all know what was going to happen before the first bell..
I want Brook-Spence for the same reason as any Brook fan, to prove the doubters wrong.. I think Brook beats Spence now, a few yrs from now Spence bodybags him..Comment

The thing I actually like about spence is the non-hype attached to him, I remember the hype Broner got, I remember the hype GGG got and still gets (A lot of it unjustified yet), with spence I see people excited at the prospect of him but not hyping him yet. That is exactly how I want boxing to be, not overhype someone and claim no one wants to fight him when the fighter himself is all about making more money than securing big fights for himself.Comment
