Comments Thread For: Sam Eggington Embraces Idea of Facing Paulie Malignaggi in NY

Sam Eggington (19-3, 11 KOs) would love to travel to New York for a future fight with former two-division world champion Paulie Malignaggi (36-7, 7 KOs). Malignaggi is hoping to get a crack at the European welterweight title, which is held by Ceferino Rodriguez (24-1, 12 KOs) of Spain. He captured the title last month with a twelve round split decision over Ahmed El Mousaoui. Rodriguez has won six in a row since suffering his only career defeat back in April of 2015.

    Good fight for Egg.

I think he can beat Malignaggi at this stage.

Eggington is promoted by Hearn. Malignaggi is based in Brooklyn, sells big there! Evidently don't know too much about the sport.

Anyway, Eggington is too young, too big and too strong for an on-the-slide Malignaggi.

Skeete has just signed again with Boxnation, I don't know what kind of money he's getting but I don't think he'll be getting fights like this. Politics of the game and who-ya-know

Evidently u dont know much about the continents of the world. Too put u straight America isnt part of Europe so why would a europe belt be contested in this country. If malignaggi wants the EU belt he should fight for it in europe. Dont ever try an accuse me of not knowing anything about the sport u ****** little boy.
