Lol, Steve Collins was a disgrace to boxing.
He shouldn't ever be mentioned, anywhere.

I respect him, you do what you can to win. And I respect that.Originally posted by ICEMAN JOHN SCULLYI thought you LIKED Steve. So u hate him because he beat Benn and Eubanks?
But his tactics to beat Eubank the first time were DISGRACEFUL. Collins was just an average journeyman and another easy win for Eubank, and Collins knew it. So he had to go and play those ****** mind games beforehand, knowing Eubank was mentally fragile. Collins pretty much admitted that he knew he couldn't beat Eubank physically, so he had to beat him mentally. He deserves no credit for that win, he brought back the thoughts of Michael Watson to Eubank beforehand and Eubank threatened to cancel the fight but Barry Hearn wouldn't let him. Collins claimed he was hypnotised into believing that he would feel no pain from Eubank's punches, and said Eubank would have to "kill" him to keep him down. That all spooked Eubank out bigtime. It's difficult to respect Collins for that.Comment

And anyway, Eubank was Robbed.
Ofcourse, if you judge fights on scrappiness and sloppiness and blue-collarness then Collins gets the decision. But if you judge fights on finesse and quality work, then Eubank wins by landslide.
I scored it for Eubank.Comment

Thats one of the most pathetic excuses ive ever heard. Up there with Wlad and the vasiline and manny with his wrong socks.
At the fight on saturday i was walking next to collins for about five minutes. it was real cool.Comment

PBF, I wish I knew u were gonna be there..that is where the pic was taken. I hadnt seen Steve in about 17 YEARS... I went up to him after he came out of the ring right after Collazo fight and I said to him "after all the sparring I gave you you could at least take a photo with me." He looked at me, looked a little closer and then gave me the biggest smile I have ever seen and he started telling people around us, I don't even think he knew them, that "this guy used to come allthe way to my gym twice a week and spar with me!!" Nobody cared but us lolComment
